Samson Cho is a Practicing Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists. Samson completed his Kinesiology degree at the University of British Columbia and has a vast amount of experience in chronic pain, work conditioning, workplace ergonomics, sports rehab, and corrective exercises.
Samson ran a Chronic Pain Program for several years in a Physiotherapy clinic before deciding to open his own practice. With years of experience working with people with chronic pain and chronic illnesses, Samson understands that “pain” is multifactorial. That is why Samson’s Active Rehabilitation Program’s consists not only of rehab exercises and stretches, but also education regarding postural correction, exercise pacing/progression, pain flare-up management, and sleep hygiene.

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Derek has a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology along with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Throughout his education, he has gained valuable experiences, not just from private physiotherapy clinics, but also from hospitals and care centres as well. These include patients with musculoskeletal injuries, acute and/or chronic pain, neurological conditions, along with more complex conditions such as stroke and post-surgical patients.
All of these experiences reflect in his treatment style, blending in manual therapy techniques with functional exercises to maximize the patient’s benefit when coming in for rehab. She relocated to Vancouver to complete her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia, and has since fallen in love with everything the city has to offer.

Kenneth holds a Masters of Physiotherapy at Leeds Beckett University in the UK, and a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at SFU. Through his international experience, he had the opportunity to work with various population groups such as patients with neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain. Combining his love for all things active and active rehabilitation, Ken uses his knowledge to help people return to activities/sports they enjoy.

Jennifer’s passion for health and fitness began as a teenager while playing volleyball and track & field where she found an interest in biomechanics to improve performance. Throughout university, Jennifer used this knowledge as a personal trainer to help others succeed in their sports and fitness goals.
